I found a bunch of shutters at the thrift store one day and bought every single one they had. Hey, they were only a couple of dollars each! I knew that I could use them for some sort of crafty fun project. I started searching shutter craft projects on Pinterest and came up with a ton of ideas.
On one of the natural wood shutters I painted a snowman for a gift to take to our Christmas party for work. It turned out great, but unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of it before I left. So I snapped a couple of pictures with my phone, but I can’t find them now. So, trust me when i say it turned out wonderful, lol!
I stashed the other natural wood shutters somewhere in this house, but I cannot recall exactly where that place is. I wanted to paint another snowman shutter for my mom. But, all I had left was white shutters. How in the world was I gonna paint a snowman on a white shutter?
I decided to give the white shutter a wash with some blue paint and the paint the snowman over the top of that. I decided that would work. It also turned out wonderful. And I have the pictures to prove it!
