Finally!!!! I have a new stove. I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am about this. My old stove died the first week in December. We went back and forth for a week or so trying to figure out what kind we wanted to get to replace it. {which actually means how much money did we want to spend!} I had a pretty nice smooth top electric stove, which I liked. But, I have always preferred cooking on a gas stove. I had never had a reason to justify spending the money to replace my stove just because I wanted gas. Now, I had my chance. Plus, my sweet talented Dad has all the technical skills to run a new gas line for me. Yay me! So, after going back and forth and scouring all the nearby stores and internet, I found one at Home Depot. When I called to order it, the helpful associate was awesome about taking all of my info and even giving me a military discount even though Todd has been out of the Navy now for 8 years or so. Sweet! With that discount, I was able to get a nicer stove for less than the amount of money we had agreed to spend. I was doing the Happy Dance! Then we got to the delivery date part. The associate said the first delivery date they had was January 15th. Wwwwwwhhhhhhhhaaaaaaattt?!?!? Remember this was way back around the first of December! A month without a stove?!? Wow, ok, that sucks but it couldn’t be helped. So I set up the delivery date and started the countdown. Today, the countdown reached zero and it was delivered. And now I have a beautiful new 5 burner stove with that coveted blue flame!
