I think our puppies might have a case of species confusion. Sometimes, usually right after they wake up both of them will let out this noise that sounds a LOT like a meow. We have never had cats, we are squarely in the ‘dog people’ camp, but I do like cats, don’t get me wrong – I just like dogs better! Anyway, the puppies have perfected the kitty meow and now Emma has started climbing onto counters too! True kitty behavior, right? The picture of Emma is a little blurry because I was actually afraid she was going to slip off the slick granite surface. Lily is sitting on the back of the sofa (a favorite spot of them both) watching Emma and trying to decide if she should join her.
