Coupons – here we go again! I went all in with coupons several months ago, clipped a bunch, printed a bunch and then got them all organized in my binder. Then life got busy and I quit. I hate being a quitter! So, I am going to try again. I figured summer was a great time to start since we’re not in school I have a little more time.
This week CVS has a lot of great deals. If you are new to clipping coupons you need to take a moment to go visit the Passionate Penny Pincher website. This lady is the coupon guru, I promise! The best thing for me is that she lives right here in my hometown so all the deals she posts are ones that I know I can get too! But, she doesn’t just post local deals, she covers it all – a TON of grocery stores, drugstores, WalMart, Target and even Amazon.
Anyway, just wanted to brag on my CVS trip this week. This is what I bought with a grand total out of pocket of $6.19. Plus I got $2 Extra Bucks rewards.

- Colgate mouthwash
- Aqua Fresh toothpaste
- Cough Drops
- Cough/Sore Throat medicine
- 2 packs mints
- Mountain Dew (yeah, totally not needed, except to bring my total up to $15 so that I could use my $3 off coupon!)
