No, I am not painting my kitchen cabinets. I am talking about artsty fun kind of painting, not the work kind! I was wandering the Habitat for Humanity store looking for something. I didn’t know what, just kinda waiting on inspiration to strike. I walked by a huge display of cabinet doors. Ah-Ha!! That looks like a painting canvas to me! I grabbed a few of them in different sizes and took them home to meet my sander.
After sanding the heck out of them and removing all the hardware, then filling the holes and of course sanding again, my canvas was ready. The first one I did was ‘Owl Always Love You’. I had so much fun with it, that I painted a few more on different sizes.
If you have a H4H store, this place is a treasure trove of art supplies – you just gotta think outside of the box!
