Chocolate Chip Cake

I found this recipe for Chocolate Chip Cake in a cookbook I’ve had since Todd and I got married.  Each month when I make out our menu, I pick a cookbook or two and flip through looking for new and interesting meal ideas.  When I got to the desserts section, this one sounded yummy.  I made it and the Fam says it is a new favorite.

Chocolate Chip Cake

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 3.9 oz. pkg chocolate fudge instant pudding mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 18.25 oz. box yellow cake mix
  • Mix eggs, sour cream, and oil thoroughly. Add all other ingredients except chocolate chips. After ingredients are well blended, fold in chocolate chips. Bake in a round tube pan in the center of the oven for 50 – 53 minutes at 350.
